Well - who would have thought that the two Mary Beths at 'Petticoat Discipline Quarterly' would get together? But these things happen at Christmas time, and they have conspired to bring readers a Festive season competition.

Mary Beth Sanford has provided five bloomer images designed for petticoat discipline, and Mary Beth and Jacqueline, and their family, all of whom are bloomer connoisseurs, are the judges. They are going to rank the bloomers in order, the criterion being their likely effectivness as instruments of petticoat discipline, and readers are invited to see if they can guess the ranking of Mary Beth and her very well-bloomered family.

The special prize will be a book about the finest Highland single malt whiskies, to be air-mailed to the winner. If there is more than one correct entry, then the winner will be chosen by lot.

In the Spring issue, Mary Beth & Jacqueline will explain the reasons for their choices, and the winner will be announced.
