Petticoat Discipline Quarterly
Autumn 2003
A publication of petticoated.com
A charming domestic scene of home life in Britain in the 1950s...

Better late than never! Here is the long-awaited Autumn issue, and I hope it is up to standard.

Many readers have trouble getting the current issue, and one reader only discovered that there had been two editions published since last winter because she had come back from a holiday. And this points to the problem: readers have the old issue cover in their computer, and so it keeps coming up if the usual URL is called up. There are possible solutions.

1. Use this URL: http://www.petticoated.com/index.html which will take you to the latest issue, or

2. Go to the Library and Archives, and see if there is a new issue listed there. This would be an excellent way of finding out, because readers only go there to search for an old article and so, if the page has been changed, then it will be apparent.

3. Try the Contents page. For 2003 these were:

http://www.petticoated.com/contentsW03.html,

http://www.petticoated.com/contentsS03.html,

http://www.petticoated.com/contentsSU03.html,

http://www.petticoated.com/contentsA03.html.

I trust that these suggestions help. I have had to get this issue ready fairly quickly, so if something is missing which I said would be published in the Autumn edition, I apologise. It should appear in the Winter-Christmas Annual in December.
