Well, we are up at last! I would like to thank readers for their letters of concern, but I am happy to report that the family matters were of a cheerful nature rather than problems, but they did keep me away from my editing desk for quite some time.
Next month there will be advertising in the magazine. My web provider has notified me that my bandwidth now exceeds 10GB a month, and has for some time. That means that I would have to pay much higher rates if I wished to keep the site going without advertising. Making 'Petticoat Discipline Monthly' a pay site is not something that I wish to do. I want my readers to be as happy and relaxed as possible when they read the magazine, and somehow that is never possible at a pay site. The advertising will be tasteful and not confronting, and will be mainly for other petticoat discipline sites, such as Petticoat Punishment Art and Satique Lingerie.
I also have a new post office box. So it is a time of change at 'Petticoat Discipline Monthly', but the magazine is still developing, and it is most important that it continue. And please let me say that there have been no union problems at petticoated.com. Some readers have thought that this might be the reason for the publication delays, probably after reading a scurrilous article in 'The Guardian' - not my favourite newspaper, and one that persistently regards me as one of the most arch conservative of all British business leaders - and they are, I might add, absolutely correct. But I draw the line at rumour-mongering that contains not one shred of truth. Miss Gribble has not even spoken the word 'strike' in weeks.
Well, that is quite enough from me. So turn the page, and get on with your long-delayed monthly reading...
