The Petticoat Discipline
Art of Paul
Some weeks ago I received some
sketches by a new petticoat discipline artist named Paul. I was very impressed
by his professional draftsmanship, and his understanding of petticoating
for boys, and decided to feature some of his drawings in an upcoming issue.
I am sure Paul would appreciate any comments from readers regarding his
work, which I believe is of a very high standard, and not savagely overdone
and caricatured, as is the case with so many artists who attempt to portray
petticoat discipline. Paul's strict mummies and blushing, mortified, naughty
boys really live and breathe.
When I started this magazine,
I decided that I would stick to a policy of not presenting fictional stories
(which are not very helpful to those administering petticoat discipline,
and of which there are a surfeit on the web already), and instead, I would
present classic and current letters on petticoating, as well as some advice,
and articles for the more scholarly minded readers. Paul's work has caused
me to rethink this policy. In the Christmas Annual I intend reproducing
a classic story by 'Susan' (an extraordinary writer, and the author of
'Enforced Petticoating' in Volume 1 No 5), especially illustrated for readers
by Paul. It will be something to look forward to.
In the meantime, here are
some examples of Paul's work.

I am hoping that Paul will represent
for us more frills and flounces, and less nudity, but I love his natural
style. I think he will achieve great recognition as a petticoat discipline
artist, a field which is featured in the new site on my 'Links' page.
