Sadly, I must announce that Girltalk will be closing down
on February 18. Debbie has had some problems with the domain name, and
has found very little time over the past two years to attend to the upkeep
of the site (and that is something that I can well understand). However,
the clothes made by Linda will still be available. This link will now take
you to Debbie's e-mail address, from which you can discuss your clothing
requirements.
Wilf also has a post office
box, and those wishing to order by mail can write to:
For any readers who order baby reins from Wilf's site,
he has stated that if they mention 'Petticoat Discipline Monthly' they
will also receive a bib with 'Baby' embroidered on it for free!
Peter has done research for which we should all be grateful. He has collected petticoat discipline letters from rare Victorian and Edwardian magazines, and published them in a number of collected volumes. When I began 'Petticoat Discipline Monthly' I thought I was doing something that nobody had done before, but Peter has an unparalleled collection of petticoating letters, and has already made several superb contributions to this magazine. So if you are interested in these collections, this site tells you how to obtain them.
Peter also recommends a site which has a couple of classic petticoat punishment novels in stock, plus much of the arcania and gothick fantasy and horror which interests me.
It is extremely well-researched, and extensive site - I don't believe that one could ever quite get to the end of it.Clicking on the picture of the boys in those delightful embroidered smocks will take you to the expanded site.
The site has been beautifully and elegantly designed by Nanny Nappies, and I have been informed that there will eventually be a sister site dealing with the illustrated history of dummies, so that is certainly something for my readers to look forward to.
The question of the best dummy to use in deflating arrogant and noisy males in your care is a vexed one. I know that many women favour real babies' dummies, because since they are made for babies, they are much more humiliating for a male to suck, for that very reason. They also tend to come in prettier babyish colours. However, a dummy of the appropriate size can be very effective, as it really does make 'baby's' tiresome little whines and complaints quite impossible. This is a German company that manufactures dummies for babies and adults, although the adult ones do not seem to be made in the baby pink shade which many women favour for their little darlings. Nevertheless, I believe that many of my female readers may find this link useful.
This is Carole Jean's site, and she has spent the best
part of a lifetime studying the illustration of petticoat discipline. Her
site only started a few months ago, but there have
been several additions since, and some of the pictures are fascinating.
The painting of the petticoated boy on Carole Jean's front page is absolutely
gorgeous, and the highlight of her excellent site. I hope Carol Jean enjoys the work of Paul, whose work will be appearing in this magazine
in the months to come, and who has a great future in this genre.
Since this is our corset and panty girdle special, I should recommend a site where women can obtain corsets of the very highest quality for disciplining their husbands or older sons. I have no hesitation in recommending Thomas B. Lierse, who manages this web site. He is scrupulously honest, and devoted to supplying corsets of exemplary standard. To obtain a good disciplinary corset you could not do better.
This is a which produces beautiful ruffled and belaced
undies, and specialises in producing clothing for males under petticoat
discipline. It has supplied pretty panties for naughty boys being petticoat
punished by their mothers, and is definitely worthy of recomendation as
another site where you can obtain the clothing you need for proper discipline.
If you would like to obtain proper old-fashioned footed bunny sleepers for your big baby, with a button-up drop seat, and with plenty of room for a fluffy nappy and baby pants underneath, then this site seems to have the answer. I have not seen their products, so I hope the sleepers are made in soft cuddly fabric, and that they are reliable suppliers. I really don't know much about them, but their clothes look lovely, especially for bedtime wear.
Note: Bobbie has written to me, and pointed out that for
the bunny sleepers, and all his other clothing, the buyer's satisfaction
is guaranteed (a replacement or refund if for any
reason the buyer is not satisfied). Also, the sleepers are soft and cosy,
and not just thin towelling, as in the case of some
similar products.
Rob referred me to this site, and he states that Eslynne is reliable and honest, and that her goods are of high quality. She has the most adorable pantie styles, very like the prettiest soft nylon party knickers of the 50s and early 60s. Some look a bit too translucent to me; I like modesty, but I am sure that she could make them as required. They would be excellent weapons of petticoat discipline, and her undies are absolutely precious, and the sight of her bubble panties would make any difficult man or boy feel faint with humiliation.
I would like to add (April 2001) that I have seen a sample of Eslynn's panties, and they are beautifully made, and just adorable. I am quite sure that my readers will be happy with them. There were some bulletins posted on Betty Pearl's Bulletin Board in September 2001 about Eslynn's panties, and the praise was universal. Nobody has been unhappy with her gorgeous undies, and one of the posts read, 'Just to let everyone know. My two pairs of Eslynn panties arrived today. They are beautifully made and fit fine, well worth the price. It took about two weeks from ordering to delivery'.
I have correponded with the manager of this site, who assures me that the clothes - and there is a very wide range of discipline wear available - are made to a very high standard, and it was this need that encouraged Miss Chameleon to start the business. She has posted me some photographs of recent work she has done, and the quality does look very good.

Saffy recommends this site as an excellent source of firm
foundation garments for disciplining husbands. All kinds of foundations
are available, and they are very pretty, with lace panelling, and lace
at the legs. The quality is high, and delivery is prompt. Definitely recommended.
Lilies of the Field is a beautiful site for obtaining old-fashioned, modest, and feminine dresses, undies, aprons, and bonnets which would be perfect for petticoating. The apron in the picture is available in large sizes, and is well up to 'Penelope standard' if I may put it in those terms.
This site believes in its lovely clothing styles for religious reasons, but all the garments at this site would be excellent for wives who wish to take control in the domestic sphere, and the clothing is very well made, and reasonably priced.
I myself have received some dove-soft, incredibly comfortable bloomers from Lilies of the Field from Mary Beth and John, dear friends, and great supporters of 'Petticoat Discipline Monthly' and this site. These soft flannel undies are without parallel, and I strongly recommend 'Lilies' to any readers who feel the need for petticoating. Wait till you see the dresses, petticoats and pinafores in their catalogue! Remember though that this is a very modest, religious-oriented site, and it needs to be approached with tact and common sense.
Lisa Rosenberg just loves bloomers, and can also make knickers and pantalettes to your design. What a marvellous site! Mary Beth and Jacqueline recommended it to me.
You can't beat the Vermont Country Store for good old-fashioned feminine nightgowns and underwear, and that makes it an excellent recommendation for mothers and wives considering the benefits of petticoat discipline. Their soft winter flannel nightgowns are full ankle length and should ensure that hubby doesn't get up to any mischief in bed, at least not without your permission. As the site itself says, ' If you were allowed to open only one gift on Christmas Eve, it was probably your new flannel nightgown. And I bet you slept like a babe that night wrapped in the comfort and warmth of a 100% cotton flannel nightgown like ours. Finished with a lace-trimmed collar, cuffs, and yoke, and a two-button placket'.
This excellent site was sent to me by dear Cliff.

So if you badly need petticoating, with the comforting
addition of dummies and nappies, then on Maid Angela's assurance I recommend
Susan Dawson.
My favourite section, not surprisingly is the aprons - three pages of the most lovely aprons I have seen.
Please take a look and if you think it suitable let others know about it. I wish there was a similar UK site.
Yours respectfully,
Pinafored David.
And who doesn't love those frilly, gauzy pink nighties from the 1960s? Mmmm..?
I would definitely recommend Annemarie to all my frilly little babies and their mummies. If Baby Janet says she is excellent, that is a safe recommendation.
This site has available soft vinyl baby pants in a variety of styles, and a few different designs of cloth diapers or nappies. They are well made, and the business has been operating successfully for some time. They describe themselves as incontinence suppliers, but looking at their products I suspect that they know all about big babies as well.
The site writes, "We ship all over the world, including Europe. We
charge actual postage, plus $1.00 per order as a handling fee".
An excellent source of pretty, beautifully ruffled plastic pinnies for husbands who won't do the housework. Many women have found that a good starched cotton pinafore, followed by a plastic pinnie tied in a tight bow at the back, is all that is needed to turn hubbie into a very docile and obedient housemaid.
The site, as well as carrying excellent illustrations of all the aprons and pinnies available, also features some beautiful nostalgic illustrations, such as the one featured here.

I think Maid Angela referred me to this site, and it is full of patterns for aprons that are perfect for making sure hubbie does his bit in the house'
Another site sent in by Maid Angela has a history of aprons and pinafores, and makes interesting reading:

The long leg ruffled bloomers sound ideal for firm, determined
wives who wish to introduce full petticoating for their husbands. The minimum order for bloomers is three pairs. Now, Kurt does not have a web site, but does have an e-mail address and fax number, on either of which he can be contacted at any time. His address should be written exactly as follows:
'Having complained about expensive pricing from British
suppliers of undies, it is nice to point out a reasonable one. I was given
this contact by a friend and purchased a couple of pairs of full panties
in a heavy nylon. Her address is:
The following are supplied :
Directoire Knickers in Rayon, Nylon and Cotton.
Nylon Panties.
Heavy Nylon Panties.
Nylon Panties with Lace.
Panties with cuff leg in Nylon, Rayon and Cotton.
French Knickers.
Prices range from £5.90 to £9.90 Annette can
also supply slips, petticoats and nighties. I can attest to the quality
of these products, that are all British made. I have spoken to Annette
over the phone and found her most amenable. She was more than happy for
me to pass on her address to your magazine. I hope that this may be of
some use to your readers'.
Please note that Annette is mail order only, but that her garments are very good quality - see 'General Correspondence' October 2001.

These gorgeous gussies look just the thing for mothers intending to petticoat the little boys in their care, and are strongly recommended by Baby Janet, who writes,
'I found these very pretty and very realistic rhumba panties on ebay. When I contacted the lady who makes them, she indicated she is willing to offer them to 'Petticoat Discipline Monthly' folks who identify themselves as such in their email at a cost which is less than they have been going for at auction on ebay. She also gave her permission to use the attached photos of the item.
'They are the most realistic little girl or baby rhumba panties I have seen to date. They are offered at $30 each for the first one and $25 for each additional one in the same order. They come in white, or any pastel color. However, the ruffles and lace on the pastels will remain white. The $30 price for the first item in the order includes Priority Mail shipping in the US and Economy Mail shipping overseas for the entire order. Anyone wishing to obtain them should contact her at:
'They should indicate that they saw the offer at 'Petticoat Discipline Monthly' in order to avail themselves of the offer price and include waist, hip and thigh measurements as the panties will be made to order. For those wishing to use them over nappies or diapers, the hip measurement should be made with nappies or diapers on, of course.
'Though they are a bit expensive, they are definitely the best I've seen, and any woman wishing to give her little girl or baby a pair of 'Sunday Best' panties to wear might find these very acceptable. I should point out that they are made of cotton, not nylon. Although nylon is often a more popular choice, most little girl's and baby's rhumba panties are made of cotton and, in my opinion, all the prettier for it.
'These would be quite useful for a woman who wanted to
transition her man from big girl nylon panties to little girl cotton panties,
or for a woman who was babifying her man to bring him an added touch of
prettiness and humility. What petticoated man could
refuse such pretty panties?'
They do look very sweet, and if Baby Janet says that the quality of workmanship is high, then readers may be assured that it is.

April 2002 - Miss Caldwell, who knows just what sort of panties sissy little girls like to wear, writes:"I have been making nylon panties in white and pink
wonderfully soft nylon. When searching for the nylon, I finally found the one that is used by a company that makes "little girl panties". I use either white or pink lace ruffles,
your choice. You have my permission to use the photos from Ebay and if you need any more just let me know. The price will be $35.00 first pair and $30.00 each additional.
I will be making panties in a very soft, shiny satin in the near future. Ifyou want to add them, they will sell for the same price as above. I also make slips in cotton, nylon and satin. They will sell for $35.00 each."
Saffy has also commented about Jackson's: 'I believe this store also has an excellent lingerie section where it is still possible to obtain 'old fashioned' foundation garments with which to petticoat husbands/partners. Sadly, many of the shops which used to stock such garments have, alas, disappeared from the average 'High Street'.
So readers are informed that you can still buy tight girdles and silky bloomers at Jackson's - what a petticoat discipline treasure trove it must be!
