In our 'Country Views' section in the past, have I ever presented a more stirring photograph than this? Julie Anne attended the Aberdeen Highland Games, and has sent in this photograph, taken in Aberdeen on a fairly typical Scots summer's day. If I am not mistaken, there are some bottles of excellent single malt whisky set out on the proximal table, and no doubt the evening celebrations were are as convivial as they always are after the games.
