A CHRISTMAS PUZZLE FROM CISSY WILLIAMS
Dear Miss McDonald,
Usually you like to have games and puzzles in your Christmas issue. I have a puzzle for
you and your readers. I have always enjoyed the "Find the Word" Puzzles. I thought it
would be fun to create one for the readers of PDQ. I have never created one before so
please forgive my amateur effort.
There are sixty-eight (68) words and short phrases. The longest is "BOYS AND GIRLS" and
the shortest is "BRA" "PDQ" and "WIG" I included "DIAPERS and "NAPPY" as well as "PANTIES
and KNICKERS" I did use the American spelling of "RUMBA" and not the English spelling of
"rhumba." I have included the name of our illustrious editor "MISS MCDONALD" and our
artist "LANA". I wanted to include christen but was not able to find room. My apology
to all of our fine contributors whose names were omitted for lack of room. May I assure
you it is not from lack of appreciation.
I know most of our readers will print the puzzle off as soon as they see it and start
solving it right away. Please let's make it a little game and have some fun. Here is a
chance to express your sissy self. Before you even look at the puzzle get in proper
dress. Take a bubble bath and shave all that hair. Dust with sweet powder or baby
powder. Put on your frilliest undies in the brightest color. If you enjoy being a baby
make that a diaper and plastic panties. Put on that slip and petticoat, panty hose or
pink lace sox's. Shoes should be either Mary Janes (Another word in the puzzle) or ladies
flats. Wear a pearl necklace and a girl's bracelet. Paint you nails with bright pink or
red polish. Over this wear men's slacks and a shirt.
Take your puzzle to a public place well away from where you are known and sit where you
can be seen until you find all 68 words. If you leave the list of words at home it will
take you longer and you will have more time to be a sissy. Then write Miss McDonald about
your experience.
Have fun,
Cissy Williams
PS. My dear understanding wife and mistress for the past fifty five years edited this
effort. The key became so mixed up using the normal loops we took out all the extra
letters in the puzzle and made four keys using red ink to mark the words. Key one is
"APRON through DOLL." Key two is "DOMESTIC through MAKE-UP." Key three is " MARY JANES
through RIBBON." Key four is "ROBE through WIG."
