Dear Auntie Helga, This is my actual post-Susan letter but please keep up the good work that you do. I read the interesting story of adoptees Andrew age 7 and his sister age 8 and I did a bit of research via the internet and the city library and also Historical Boys Clothing site on the internet and what I think is that this well to lady is actually bringing up the boy Andrew in a 1880's style era by depriving him of long trousers or even shorts and this practice was done for at least 150 years in the UK and her Empire countries like Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa to name a few and the European countries can be included in this sequential of Petticoating. A boy used to wear dresses like his sisters even with ringlets and hosiary, dolls and live in the same nursery as his female peers and wore blue or white hair ribbons and pantaloons or even lace and cotton bloomers or diapers and plastic pants or even romper suits and sailorsuits or Little Lord Fauntleroy velvet suits with velvet knickerbokkers with Mary-Jaynes. Boys were breeched at ages 5 to 11 or even as late as 14 depending on the actual boy's maturity but so some of you former petticoated penitents are actually quite modern version of breeched boys and gentlemen who were 'reformed' via petticoat discipline by your mothers, aunties and grandmothers or upperclass well to do relative of sorts. Life With Father (1947) Uk film was about four sons of a rich family where the two youngest boys wore dresses and kilts and skirts or sailorsuits or fancy shorts suits with Eton collars and it was a really nice movie. I would say the new mother of the two adoptees is trying to bring the actual boy up to be a gentleman later in life as he will more than likely inherit her 'fortune' and ok he is wearing pretty frocks, knickers and petticoats but he is only 7 years old and should adjust to life as a 'Janegirl' but he will live as a girl but he still is referred to as Andrew and not Andrea or Anna but then his late mother might have known that her son was a sissyboy or is a boy trapped in a boys body and is being readied to one day become a girl in around 10 years time. She might be using old fashioned ways in toning down this little fellow's over aggressive ways in his boyishness and might be setting him up to become a girl because he suffers from an identity crisis in that he has Gender Dysphoria or that she can not give him a real spanking to kerb his bad language or his poor attitude towards his older sister or escape stupid bulldust that is 'Political Correctness' in these modern times where 'MAN' is killing our world with religious wars and treating woman like crap which is WRONG in my mindset. The man who told us his unusual story was petticoated and seems to have turned out fine and Andrew was more likely a disrespectful little urchin who needs a lot of motherly love because these two kiddies are alone in the world and maybe the mum wanted her son bought up as a girl to sort him out because he is much to aggressive for a small child. She clearly loves these two children and the boy is probably a tad girlish anyways and his late mother more than likely discussed this with her wealthy benefactor and the boy will inherit a good fortune and marry a well to do girl chosen by his big sister or his new mother and so for the immediate years ahead the boy will be a girl but still Andrew in name.
